Standard ones — Trade Management, Integrated Automation, ERP, Accounting — and customised ones. For customised configurations we need documentation of the changes or access to the developer who made them.

We try to avoid it: HTTP services or OData are usually enough. If changes are unavoidable, they are agreed separately and in advance.

That works if the provider allows access to web services. If it does not, we look at a workaround — for example, exchanging data through intermediate storage.

I quote the price and timeline once the idea has been analysed and fix them in the specification: as long as the task stays the same, so does the price. The project is split into stages, each paid 50 % up front and 50 % on acceptance.

No. Analysing the idea is a stage in its own right, and the specification comes out of it: what the bot does, on which venue and how it behaves when something fails.

For 3 months I fix, free of charge, any bugs in the work done to the specification. If something critical fails — trading stopping or orders going wrong — I step in within 4 hours, day or night.

I do, without middlemen or subcontractors: you deal directly with the person writing the code. With some clients I have been working for 3–⁠4 years.
